Congratulations on getting 50% of the owners ready to take control and "Claim your Right to Manage"
Now you have 50% on board next is serve a Participation Notice (This is required by Section 78 of the Commonhold & Leasehold Reform Act 2002)
Step 2
All you need to do is:
- Buy & Download Participation Notice
- Serve notice on Freeholder & owners
- Wait 1 Month
then - proceed to step 3 to form your RTM Company

TIPS on Participation Notices
- Fill it in and serve it on all leaseholders who have not already agreed to become subscribers to your RTM Company
- You MUST serve the Participation Notice on every leaseholder who is not a subscriber to the RTM company’s Memorandum and Articles of Association even on leaseholders who have already told you they do not wish to participate.
- To proceed with your claim to Right to Manage at least 50% of the leaseholders must sign up and become members of the RTM company.
- You must wait 14 days before you can proceed to Stage 4 which is to serve Notice to Claim your Right to Manage
When you have your RTM Company set up you are ready for Stage 4 – Serving a Notice to Claim your Right to Manage this notice is served on the Freeholder or competent landlord.
